Hi there,

My name is Soraya and I'm the creator of Studio 22. Originally a West Coast gal I jumped ship to Ōtautahi, Christchurch over 10 years ago now. I became obsessed with resin art in 2021 after attending a workshop to learn the correct way to enjoy this art medium. I'm a bit of a nervous nelly and resin and it's fumes are very toxic so I wanted to be sure to learn all those important things. I soon became addicted to practicing this craft and all of a sudden had all these pieces I actually would never use myself, that is where Studio 22 was born. 

This is a hobby for myself as I have always been a creative person (I run my own graphic design business) but would never have said I was 'arty' until I found resin art. Studio 22 is a way for me to continue my passion, I aim to keep prices affordable as I can as resin is a quite an expensive material so by having my online shop it allows me to continue doing what I love and share that joy with as much people as possible.
